Software Systems and Technologies Ltd. is the leading Russian IT-company, specializing in software development for the bank credit organizations. Our most important principle is as follows: providing our clients (primarily banks) with the most modern, the most reliable and the smartest solutions, which allow them to automate an overall spectrum of bank services the most suitable way.

Software Systems and Technologies Ltd. had been founded in 1993. For the first few years our Company had been concentrating on development of a viable unified solution for a steady work with payment cards in local and international payment systems: automation complexes for acquirers, issuers and processing centers; software for different types of POS-terminals, embossers, CATs and automatic teller machines.

However, the realms of banking showed us that the real thing, all credit organizations had been looking for, wasn’t the local solutions for definite narrow types of services but the complete software products, providing necessary tools to arrange full-featured retail services. That’s why we have created and developed a unified multifunctional 3Card System, which indeed is an integral software complex, based on processing center and back office system. 3Card System allows banks to automate the whole spectrum of bank retail services. 

Our solutions are constantly developing and upgrading in a great accordance with market requirements. They are flexible and operative enough to be configured by the bank in order to be built in the bank’s newest products and services. By using the latest achievements in banks’ automation processes our Company tends to accomplish its mission of meeting with the banks’ hardest requirements and possibly to surpass them with its newest solutions; building up steady and reliable partnership with the leaders of the market during the process.

As of now, the software solutions of the Company are installed and working successfully in more than 300 banks over Russia and CIS countries.

Main Milestones  

  • 1993: Foundation of the company. 
A number of back and front office solutions was developed for the members of Union Card payment system: Autobank, GUTA-Bank, Inkombank, Gazprombank, Alpha-Bank, ConverseBank, Toribank, Mezhprombank and others.  
  • 1994 : For the first time in Russia, VISA payment cards’ acquiring was accomplished by the Company with a help of Autobank bank system.
  • 1996: DBMS Oracle was selected as a fundamental base for the future development of SST technologies. The Company started a new chain of software solutions, branded 3Card: 3Card-B (Back office card system), 3Card-F (Front office card system), and 3Card-P (Personalization Centre).  
  • 1996 : SST, FAPSI and Angstrem JSC started a unique project, “Russian Intellectual Card”. The project was successfully released in 1999.
  • 1997 : Solutions for the EuroCard/MasterÑard payment system was started to work out.
  • 1998 : For the first time in Russia, Software Systems and Technologies exceeded the virtual boards of payment systems and started the creation of retail systems for commercial banks.
  • 2001 : 3Card-R automatic retail system for natural persons was released.
  • 2003 : E-commerce solutions were started. “Virtual Card” project for instant payments was accomplished on the route of e-commerce development.
  • 2005 : Gazprombank offices in Tomsk and Beloyarsk and SKB-Bank in Ekaterinburg were successfully certified by world-known companies VISA and MasterCard on the base of software solutions, developed by the SST.
  • 2007: As of now, our software products are successfully installed in more than 300 banks over Russia and CIS countries.
